Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust (SBBOT)
Our one day workshops are suitable for both beginners and those wanting to improve their skills and are led by experts. Unless otherwise stated; courses are priced at £20.00, including both lunch and refreshments. Running from 10:00 to 16:00, courses include both presentations and practical field sessions, with lunch and refreshments provided. Spaces are limited to ensure everyone has plenty of time with the leaders. |

Saturday 4th February 2012 Gulls Workshop This workshop, led by Roger Thompson, is designed to help people learn more about gulls: their identification and distribution. it focuses on birds seen in East Kent.

Friday 23 March 2012 Watercolour , 'Skies, Sunlight & Shadow' with artist Steve Cale Learn how to paint the dawn & dusk sky, looking at how sunlight and shadow affect your paintings. Steve will teach you how to use highlights and lowlights in your work. You will also be taken through the techniques of how to paint water on the day. Please note that you will have to bring your own equipment on the day. Cost: £30 per day or £50 for both days Numbers will be limited to ensure that everyonegets the most out of the day. |

Saturday 24th March 2012 Watercolour, 'Springtime in paint - life in your work' with artist Steve Cale The birds will be singing and the class will be looking at how to paint them and put them into a setting.
