Clubs
A series of indoor and outdoor meetings, walks and talks covering all aspects of local natural history and reserves. All of the clubs meet weekly, some in the evenings, others during the day.
Boat trips
Guided trips from the quay in Sandwich out to Pegwell Bay. Each trip lasts approximately two and a half hours, emphasis is given to looking for birds and seals!
SBBOT Workshops
Learning Opportunities for all! A series of one day workshops to help people learn more about the wildlife around them. Suitable for both beginners and those who want to improve their existing skills, the workshops are led by Field Centre Staff and guest 'experts'. The workshops include both presentations and practical field sessions. Price includes lunch. Workshops are limited to ten people to ensure plenty of individual time with leaders, so early booking is advisable.
Photographic Club
An informal group of amateur and experienced photographers who meet to swap ideas and knowledge. Some of their photographs are displayed in the Field Centre
Young Birders Club
Specifically aimed at young birders this informal club meets on the first Saturday of every month
Wine and Wisdom
A fun evening of quiz, food (provided) and drink (your own!) that has no relation to birding - your general knowledge will be tested.
For further details on any event, or to book a place, please contact the Field Centre.
