Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust (SBBOT)
Enjoy an informal evening spent identifying moths that were caught locally the night before. The more interesting specimens will be placed into pots so that they can be studied more closely. Local expert Francis Solly will provide a mine of information about all things mothy! This is a free event and will take place again in the summer of 2011.
Guided trips from Sandwich Quay to Pegwell Bay lasting approximately two hours. The emphasis is looking for birds and seals.
Numbers are limited so please book at the Field Centre to avoid disappointment.

A fun evening of quiz, food (provided) and drink (your own!) that has no relation to birding - your general knowledge will be tested. The evening starts at 19.30 at the Field Centre.
These events are very popular so please book a table with L Kember (01843 590203) to avoid disappointment.

An informal group of amateur and experienced photographers who meet to swap ideas and knowledge. Some of their photographs are displayed in the Field Centre. This group meets on the first Sunday of every month at 10.00- all are welcome.
