All our members receive a quarterly newsletter updating them on the work of the Trust, recent sightings and serious (or not so serious) short articles.
Members pay a reduced admission fee to our regular events such as our ever-popular Thursday Club illustrated talks, our Tuesday and Wednesday Club birdwatching classes,the regular Sunday Birding walks and our Friday afternoon club walks and talks.
Whilst anyone can visit the Bay's own reserves at Restharrow, members have exclusive visiting privileges to our Backsand Scrape.
The Field Centre has a well stocked library covering all aspects of Natural HIstory, both home and abroad. Members can use this as a quiet room and may borrow books for their reference.
Members also benefit from reduced accommodation rates at the Field Centre and discount on selected items from our shop.
In addition to this, members can enjoy all of our other activities including our Natural History Photographic Club, monthly boat trips, wine and wisdom evenings and organised birding trips.
Members are the life blood of the Trust and are involved in Bird Observatory work including ringing and censusing, conservation, organising events and maintaining the Field Centre. For more information on volunteering please use this link volunteers
