As normal for February, the weather conditions proved challenging for ringing efforts. The majority of birds for this month were caught between the 13th-21st.

Starlings were captured using the crow trap, Collared Doves and Reed Buntings in box traps. Fortunately these methods can be used when the mist nets can't.

An off-site ringing session produced 62 Blue, 27 Great, 2 Coal and 2 Marsh Tits, along with other garden species the total newly ringed birds amounted to 106; not bad for a morning's effort!
