On the 1st a family of four Stoats were seen on the path leading to Restharrow Scrape, 2nd one Fox in Middle Field near the old pond and two more Foxes were seen on the 8th at Backsand Scrape eating a Green Sandpiper. Also on the 2nd two Hares on Worth Marshes, the next day a single Grey Squirrel was seen on Kings Avenue. Records of Grass Snakes on 5th and 6th, one basking in the sun between the Elms and Waldershare Road the latter under a habitat board in Middle Field. Two Weasels were observed behind the observatory playing amongst a pile of railway sleepers on the 8th and the following day one crossed the road from the Elms.
