Very mild overnight conditions on the 8th produced a Dark Chestnut and even warmer weather on the 9th turned up 2 Mottled Umbers, unrecorded last year, and 2 Winter Moths. 2 more Mottled Umbers and a Satellite were trapped on the 10th and a brief window of mild conditions in a spell of otherwise frosty nights brought our first ever January record of Silver-y on the 18th, followed by Angle Shades, also never previously recorded in January, on the 20th. Pale Brindled Beauty and Early Moth were recorded on the 24th
